A large Insurance Company needed to generate over 400,000 individualized Annual Notification of Coverage documents in
a short timeframe with an unforgiving Federally mandated delivery date. The highly personalized documents required 100%
accuracy coupled with ancillary collateral tied to the recipient’s specific plan and geography.
THE SOLUTION:
MarketPoint Direct utilized personalization technology to merge numerous databases into multiple newly created templates. Over 200 version combinations were formed to respond to geographic, plan and individual commitments. Documents were produced on MarketPoint Direct’s high speed continuous laser printers, transitioned through multiple bindery and inserting operations, and entered into the mail stream through the in-house USPS unit.

Seamless execution from concept through production facilitated the rapid program turnaround with a significant lowering of unit costs. An Internationally recognized leader in assessment reporting and personalized instruction needed to have 55,000 custom books perfectbound and distributed to high schools across a State. Timeliness was crucial as the guides contained specific
student information on a test recently completed and required them to be delivered in advance of the next wave of testing.

MarketPoint Direct tailored a print through fulfillment work flow process that facilitated the merging of multiple print streams with myriad components. Varying thickness guides (customized) were packaged in student order with all the
pertinent ancillary products by classroom.
By creating a linked production system, MarketPoint Direct was able to create a fluid structure in which data processing, printing, bindery, fulfillment, and shipping were able to run simultaneously.

Packages were completed in advance of testing period allowing lower shipping costs (Ground vs. Expedited) with a

Not a single error was generated by integrating data with print and fulfillment. As a secondary benefit, the
conversion to a POD solution eliminated the costs and maintenance of obsolete warehoused inventory.
